Steve did as he said he would and hooked me up with a free jug of Sunflash and a free 4 place ANL SMD fuse holder!!! No pics. but it came only a couple days after he said he would send it and provided me with tracking. People this nice still exist in car audio? I have been paying it forward by giving car audio equipment away locally. Got my Mechman alt back....well as far as I can tell it appears they sent me a new one?!.... I can't say for sure but inspecting it in my hands in my kitchen...the thing is flawless enough to go in a glass case and be on display...don't think it was mine or ever hooked up. Super fucking happy for great CS!!!!! Will be installing it when i get off work in a few hours. I plan on swapping out the Lanzar's to CT Sounds component sets for rear fill running off Rockford Fosgate power series amplifier(s). I am keeping my substage the same for now (at least until spring, maybe longer). if I can get more of the same sub amps as I have now I will be changing it up, not sure to what yet though. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/207654-wtb-dc-audio-50k-all-black/ NEXT step, I plan on adding some super/ultras caps to my electrical, without taking anything away from it. This will be happening very soon, and there will be pics. to follow as I plan on changing around my set up just a tiny bit to make it look better...hopefully. so electrical will consist of 2 charging systems, stereo side ONLY... 1 Mechman 370 Elite (6 phase hairpin) 1 XS Power D3400 (under hood) 8 XS Power XP3000's (in rear by amps) X number of cap banks in rear by amps 3 runs of 2/0 OFC front to back supplying 2 DC 5k's, 1 RF T600-4, 1 RF T400-4, 1 RF T600-2 No my door panels aren't done yet to house my 2 sets of PPI 3 ways. No change from the electrical this past summer/fall etc.... I have looked at getting some as well to experiment a little more with fiber glassing. Cant wait to see how this build goes! Yea, I have been using Sunflash since either 2013 or 2014 and it works really good. I never pulled the trigger on the ultra/super caps because I couldn't justify spending hundreds more dollars on electrical on a daily ground pounder that didn't matter and was "good enough" already as I thought it would just be money wasted and not well spent but going from 10k+ RMS on substage to 20k+ RMS I think it's time!! I wanted to go back to 18" but can't justify changing out subs considering how much all brands cost these days ?? so I might just change current configuration but not sure yet... Definitely gonna continue to use the same RF mids/highs amps but DEFINITELY need to get some speakers in front of me and/or door panels done because this jimmy rigged rear stage only is, pardon my language, fucking stupid! (and annoying).
