dsw422
Hey guys.. I'm building a box for a customer and his 2010 f150 platinum supercrew. The box will house 3 Kicker Comp R 10s. It'll be sealed with .7 cuft per subwoofer. Now I kno many of you might be wondering y kicker. Well I compared 4 different subwoofers in WinISD to determine which will be loudest and have a better frequency response.. the 4 I tested were kicker comp vr, kicker comp r, sundown sa, and soundqubed hds200. The difference isn't much in terms of spl and fs response, but the supplied power to get there was less for the kicker comp vr. Anyway.. Here's the start of the build pics.. More pics coming soon.. 2014 Ford Focus SE Sedan Factory Sony 10 Speaker Sound System 1994 Ford Bronco Dual head unit (i kno) Sony door speakers Kenwood Rear Speakers Custom Center console in the works. will house an NVX NSW10" https://m.facebook.com/WinnsCustomCarAudio/

dsw422
Looks good. so why did you do the SA and not the SD. the SD is designed for sealed. Thanks.. I just modelled the SD in WinISD to see how it performs compared to the other 4, and it is actually not as loud (spl) and has worse fs response of the 4... so yea.. lol.. 2014 Ford Focus SE Sedan Factory Sony 10 Speaker Sound System 1994 Ford Bronco Dual head unit (i kno) Sony door speakers Kenwood Rear Speakers Custom Center console in the works. will house an NVX NSW10" https://m.facebook.com/WinnsCustomCarAudio/

dsw422
If Win ISD says it must be true... No, WinISD is not a perfect modeling program (none are), but it's a program I trust. 2014 Ford Focus SE Sedan Factory Sony 10 Speaker Sound System 1994 Ford Bronco Dual head unit (i kno) Sony door speakers Kenwood Rear Speakers Custom Center console in the works. will house an NVX NSW10" https://m.facebook.com/WinnsCustomCarAudio/
