Good budget stereos?

Recommended Posts

I'd like to spend around $60-$100 max, I currently have an 11 year old kenwood and I think it's time for a change. Looking for a built in crossover with separate bass control for the speakers & sub. My current stereo has no separate highpass or sub control so my door speakers aren't liking it. I will be using the built in headunit amp as well. I've looked at jvc, pioneer etc. Also, are the harnesses for aftermarket radios generally universal? I have an 11 yr old aftermarket harness and wondered if it could plug and play into a new unit.

do all the new head units have a highpass crossovers?

An old Kenwood plug from 11 yeas ago probably won't work in the newer ones.
Check this option out.

not sure what you can expect for $100, maybe some boss trash or dual.

best i can find for you is this. Does everything you want, great EQ, nioce crossover network, 3 outputs, 4v, clean 34/35 on the volume.

edit: bluetooth, pandora, iheartradio, .....
