I want them to be in separate chambers with ports in the middle. The alpine recommended vent at 1" x 12.5 seems a bit too small im afraid. I tried to calculate one in Torres but it won't work with my computer The space i have is approx. 31.5" wide 16.5" high and 16.5" deep Tuned to about 32hz It will be going in to a hatchback. They will be force fed with 1 Spl dynamics ice 1500.1 each Thanks!

Kristjan Udso Posted August 11, 2016 Author Report Posted August 11, 2016 I tried to use Box Tune Calculator app now and got following results. 2 subs displacement 0,200 Material 0.75 Box: 4,34 ft3 Gross 2,82 ft3 Net W 31,49" x H 16,53" x D 18,11" Port: 2,75" Wide 15,03" high 33,07" long Port in the middle Tuned to 32,08 hz Or Box: 4,07 ft3 Gross 2,81 ft3 Net W 36,22" x H 14,96" x D 16,53" Port: 2,75" wide 13,46" high 29,52" long Should be tuned to 32,05hz Port in the middle Does that sound correct or should i use a different program?

ckeeler11 Posted August 15, 2016 Report Posted August 15, 2016 Not enough port area, you are getting up above 125 ft. sec.(39 meters) port velocities. You should be able to get by with 4.5 wide x 15 tall which would give you just under 80 ft/ sec. port would be 46.75" long though. I don't think you have the room.

ckeeler11 Posted August 15, 2016 Report Posted August 15, 2016 2 6" aeros would put you at just under 95 ft. sec. so theoretically it would work but know you have to fit that into a box with some bends. i think a slot port would be more efficient. Need to find some more space or less power.
