hdorre Posted August 19, 2016 Report Share Posted August 19, 2016 I hear if you tune -0 dB on voice or sub amp you wont have much "power" behind it -2.5 to -5 is considered conservative to some... when youre giving each mid 300 watts, you dont need to distort them to get em loud. Now for subs, i agree. I wouldnt tune them with a 0dB overlap. To your original question, i use 0db for my frontstage and -7.5dB for my substage. However, most of the music i play is modified (DJSNT, Decaf, Maximum, Got160s, etc) and they have lower overlaps than the -7.5dB that I am tuned with. As a result, my bass knob is a good bit turned down to compensate.
