Project DCPTCN (2 15s 4th Order Blowthrough) Pictures All Fixed

Recommended Posts

this was the setup that i have been referencing in this build but i fear that if i recreate this exact setup that it might not be able to keep up with my sub stage...

it consisted of dayton audio (2) 8" midbass on 100 watts each (80-500hz) dayton audio (4) 6.5" mid on 50watts each (500-5000hz) and dayton audio (4 ) 1.125" tweets in the dash on 50 watts each i absolutely loved this setup and it was keeping up with 8 sundown audio sa8 v1.5 on 3500 watts just fine

I have seen the Dayton Audio products that Parts express carries, but its hard to tell what's what. Those tweeters are flat on the top of the dash? They must reflect off of the windshield. Are they in a pod or in cutouts on the dash?

now that i think about it the dayton audio 6.5 should be able to handle a lot more than 50 watts if they are crossed at 500hz rather than like 50 or whatever the low end of the freq response is

The power handling could at least double, i would think.
