welderblake21
I hooked up new rcas, tryed a new ground, completely unhooked and reconnected the amp, run a new remote wire, tryed it on the cd, tuner and aux/ mp3 and phone. Idk it's got to be the amp. I even checked my rca output, 0 volts on the outer part, wrapped it in wire. Only thing I did not do is ground the headunit to the frame but that hasn't been a problem up until I installed this amp so it shouldn't be that. And I found that the wires to my battery terminals was a little loose but tightened them up and same thing.
welderblake21
On the amp or head unit? Gain on head unit is -5 and amp is a little under half not quite a 1/
welderblake21
It's something to control the power and signal going into the amp because i can't cut the amp off on my headunit and it still has engine noise even if I unhook the rcas. ShadeTreeMechanic
If you un hook the rcas at the amp with the amp on and the engine running and still have noise, then there might be something wrong with the amp. Sorry I been real busy and honestly kind of I'll at the amp cause I had my truck took apart and still had no luck so I probably made a typo

Disconnect everything from the amp...is there noise? If so its not the amp...
