I notice when the stereo is all the way down or really low volume I get some type of slight feedback from my tweeters. It males a slight Whirl sound. no hum/whine & it doesn't increase with volume. It only happens when the tweeter is on the "0" setting. -2/-4 it doesn't do it at all. Any clue to what it may be?

Does it go away if you turn the amp gain all the way down?

Yeah with the gain all the way down the noise isn't there. But if I put my gain all the way down then my speakers don't play that loud. Max volume is 30 & my hu clips around 25

What the numbers are aren't relevant for anything more than a reference point for how you set stuff. If you have to crank the gains way up your HU isn't putting out a decent voltage.

The high quality components really do let you hear more lol. Did you change anything else when you changed components?

You might need a pre amp to drive the line so you can keep the gain down. Some EQs have a pre amp built in. I did this and it made a big difference.

This h/u puts out really low voltage. I'm guessing somewhere around 1-2 volts.... Yes that low. Changing the head unit isn't an option for me. Kind of hard for me to give up the features it has to offer. Android based, Internet browsing, app downloads, essentially it's a tablet. Is there something you guys would recommend to boost my rca voltage without compromising sound quality?

The only thing I changed when installing these components are the connector ends of my wire to fit the midrange.

The speakers do sound really good with perfect balance "eq set flat" but the real low volumes during morning drives kind of drives me crazy.

All the loud features are set to "off" & eq cutting doesn't make a difference
