Wiring down to 2ohm

I got 2 ab 8"s that are dual coil 4ohm. I want to get a 2ohm load to my amp but dont know how to do it. I seen a diagram but im not sure if its the right one.

I hooked up a ohm reader and it read 2ohm on each sub using the diagram above. My amp is 2ohm stable so it should work?

If you are hooking it up to a 2 channel amplifier that is 2OHM stable, then yeah... It should work. What amp are you using?

last time I checked, two dual 4ohm voice coil subs can only be wired to 1ohm, 4ohm, and 16 ohm. not 2ohm.

It's a 2 channel amp.
