Box design help for 4 sa 18s...... Joe x??

Need help with a box design for 4 sa 18s strapped on 2 saz2500 v2 in the back of a yukon. Got about 48"width and 40" deep for space and about 22" high. Really wanting a Meade style box. Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated. Had a few boxes designed by Joe x in the past and they were great.

Looking to tune between 30Hz-34hz. I listen to a lot of decalf and rap. R&b as well.

I would say 18-20 cubes net with 260-280 square inches of port... your looking to be well over 25 cubes gross... use be sure to brace your box well.

You didn't account for wood thickness.

You could have a removable center slot port to tune. I personally wouldnt tune under 30hz, ive learned the SA-18's play better when tuned 32-35hz by means of their design. 18 cubes nets puts each sub 4.5 and 20 net puts each sub 5. I wouldnt build bigger that 5.5 each sub myself, they like smaller enclousures by design like the ZV3 18's... sorry i didnt spec you out a cut sheet. But i think my opinion on box volume is good.

This is Outside dementions if you built it to your provided numbers.... box would be on the smaller side

If you made the box a lil taller and altered port dementions this might suite you better. .

Im obviously not joe X but i hope i was able to get you in a closer direction than you were.

Both those apps i got from the google play store, its not good as PC based programs but it will help you in the right direction... if your doing a slot port, your port will touch 1,2, or 3 common walls. You need to account for this when designing a box because if you dont factor in bracing displacements or common walls, your true spec WILL be different then what you acually thought you built.

Thanks for the info looking into all options. Never new that there was an app. I think i might play around with it for a while. Batteries and wires are still needed so i have a while before everything is put in the yukon. Power isn't cheap so it will be a fee weeks or so.
