Swordlordboy1234 Posted October 28, 2016 Author Report Posted October 28, 2016 Good stuff. I'm printing this out to put in my note book. Thanks man. Not a problem bud. I never promise to be the best, but I feel like I have learned enough to be proficient with SQ and system tuning. I have PAGES and PAGES of notes about speaker aiming, beaming, tuning, ... it just goes on and on. If you ever would like I can send you that bulk unorganized notes. DLHgn Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 Looking great! I know you talked about getting a new car this summer but I didn't think it would be this soon! Definitely tuned in to this build. I saw that you got to prototype that B2 DSP and was a little jealous (how are you liking that so far?). I didn't know you got a SLIP, would like to hear how that works out for you. I was thinking about getting one of those when i finally get around to starting my build (won't be anytime soon). I'll have to hear this new setup once it starts coming under way seeing that the Democcord sounded pretty good itself, I can only imagine what this will sound like now that you're taking your time. Maybe the Democcord can finally be loud now!
Swordlordboy1234 Posted October 29, 2016 Author Report Posted October 29, 2016 And id like some opinions on bass knob location. Here are the options. First is my favorite looks wise. Next is my favorite functionality wise Next is another random option and finally... one that im not a fan of.. but its out of the way. Number 1 might be a pain if you have stuff in the cup holders. Number 3 isn't that bad but I like the symmetry of number 2 better. Number 4 just looks a little awkward. Just my two cents

Maybe the Democcord can finally be loud now! Thanks bud! YEAH the democcord had some issues so it was time. The b2 DSP is awesome. Ill take you on a tour of the programming next time you get a demo. Just ask me. Yes... i had to choose between a SLIP and a alternator. So i decided to keep the alternator stock and have a lighter rear battery anyways. Looking forward to it for sure! As far as the democcord being loud... we will see. Im debating between trying to aggressively selling it or keeping it for loud fun time. Both are tempting. I remember you talking about having loud fun time and just chopping the roof off to replace it with a steal sheet and what not. Making it a trailer queen would be funny and hey, it would finally get to live it's dream of being loud but of course that costs money and with this new build underway I can only imagine the pain you're wallet is feeling. I would keep the alt stock too. With a brand new car I would try to keep as much stock as possible and i'm sure you're car will thank you for using the slip instead of the equivalent in AGMs considering that slip is stupid light and the equivalent AGMs would be at least a few hundred pounds. Maybe sometime Jessica and I will have to come and visit, she really misses y'all.

Yeah the wallet is feeling a little hungry and stuff... but the show must go on and views on the build log must be had! Really I just want to have my old sounding system again. I loved it, but hated the car. At least you can rest easy knowing that you have great equipment that won't let you down.
