The lower the frequency you go the more power you need to reach the same perceived loudness as a higher frequency setup is, Going lower is great for hairtricks if that is your goal, and if the goal is just getting louder, then you'll want to tune a bit higher from the 40hz to 60hz range. Tuning is something you'll have to experiment with to find your sweet spot.

All the way up to 20,000hz, eh? Take the test and see how high you can really hear. I drop off at about 16k.

it varies person to person, could be your speakers too.
