reedal Posted December 11, 2016 Report Share Posted December 11, 2016 Yes, the 00-06 1/2ton GM vehicles are capable of a drop in second battery tray. It's on the passenger side behind the coolant overflow tank. There should be a U-shaped brace that you can remove in order to fit the battery. As RooTxBeeR said, a single 370 will be plenty for what you have, but it won't hurt to run the second as backup, just in case. Especially if you find shortly down the road your current setup isn't enough for your tastes, as most of us do....
