H.O. alt x ELD

I purchased a Mechman 240 for my Accord. Apparently my car has an "ELD" that regulates voltage.

Will the ELD limit the new alts full potential? I've read of guys turning their lights on to "trick" the ELD to bump up the voltage. Are there other ways around this?

not sure if you've searched the forum, but I'm pretty sure there's a few threads and build logs where this has come up and someone has discussed the steps to bypass it.

kyblack had an acura, there's currently a Honda build that is going on, and a few other members with Honda builds (builds not active but the members are). try PMing them seeing if they know the fix.
