Best way to clean basket? *recone tips?*

Recommended Posts

An angle grinder with a Flap Disc on it is the best. I would never use a regular grinding wheel/disc on a basket.

I use a chisel and a hammer to break loose the spiders and pull up as much as possible, and a razor blade to cut off as much surround as possible.

After that right angle grinder with a 80grit flap disc to clean the basket down to aluminum. Usually takes about 10 minutes or so per basket.

Alright thanks guys. I went and bought just a basic router and it worked so much better than doing all of it by hand.

Only thing is that I didn't get any mask and you really need goggles or at least glasses.

As soon as this stuff gets in your nose or eyes you're sneezing and crying like a sissy.

I know for a fact an angle grinder would work a lot better. Thanks again my dudes :thanx:
