jessdabest77 Posted March 1, 2017 Report Share Posted March 1, 2017 I installed a new Clarion NX604 double din,SQ 4 channel amp,CT Sounds amp,and Clarion preamp. Everything played well in the beginning and now three days later it has engine noise. This one is different for me cause the noise gets lower when you press on the gas so I don't know much about it abd what to do,any help guy's thank's. reedal Posted March 1, 2017 Report Share Posted March 1, 2017 Take the preamp out of the circuit and connect RCAs directly to the amps from the HU, see what happens. If it's still there try a direct connection to the amps via 3.5mm aux to RCA. If it's still there, try grounding the shielding of your HU preouts. Make sure you have good grounds for everything.
