d3400 busbar question

does anyone know what the hole spacing is between the terminals of 2 d3400s im working on my build and i want to get done as much as i can before my equipment gets here

Was about to measure the distance for you to determine hole to hole spacing, but realized its just the width of the battery. Anyways, the short side is 1+3/16". Ill post a pic later since file size is too big to post direct.

i didnt mean spacing between posts on the same battery i meant the spacing between one post from one battery to another in parallel

Right. So the short edge-to-post dimension on the first battery plus the long edge-to-post dimension on the sefond battery is the same total distance as the width of the single battery.  So your post to post hole spacing equals the individual battery width

interesting.... do you have that dimension .... i never would have thought that those measurements would be the same

Short side 1+3/16

long side 5+11/16

total width 6+7/8

hole to hole of two parallel mounted batteries: 6+7/8

I bet you'll notice once you start working with it.

The D3100 and D3400 are the same overall width (6.81 vs 6.75, respectively... lets call it 6+7/8 bc busbar)
