I'm trying to avoid a "true wall"

I would like to do a box. It would be a lot better for my broke college student budget. Something like g-monk designed me is the direction I'm looking at:

but I'm looking at approx. 16 cu foot to work with if I build a box.

I want to do a wall, but I don't know how to do it and would have to pay someone to do it. With me trying to pay for school (6k), a truck (2k), and a sytsem (?k) . . . I have to plan carefully for my spending. If I don't do anything with it this summer, it would be next summer before I can attack it again because I go to extreme part time when school starts in August.

The only thing I would do is instead of porting it to the side, I would port it in the middle subs on each side. It will look better and and sound better for daily. Unless its like an spl setup kind of

that would be the box if i were doing 4 l7s . . . everything is still up in the air. June 15th is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long away.
