fus88
hi this is my first time designing a sub box, and from what i could understand after researching a bit i got up with this. this is just a general design for 2 12" not for a certain sub. these dimensions are limited by the trunk of the car. is it ok or did i miss something? really appreciate any feedback. forgot to mention, i'm really confused about port area and tuning stuff. will this design produce tight/boomy bass thanks
06RTCharger
The proportions of the box IS determined by the specific sub tho, and the amp you'll be powering it with. You should know what sub and amp ur using before u design a box.

ckeeler11
The only way to know how this will perform would be to figure out what subs you have and enter the info into WinISD or similar program and see how it plots. Most 12's like 2-2.5 cu. ft. per so your box is way small for 2 of them. Also the port depending no the sub should be okay but is dependent on subs and power.
