so i decided to do some hypothetical math.

i need 1000 watts for my subs and my normal pounding voltage is about 14 so.....

I x 14 = 1000 therefore 1000/14 = 71.4 amps

thats good and all except for the fact that my power wire is fused at 40 amps and i have never blown it so....

40 x 14 = 560 watts

in this perfect hypothetical situation im gettin at most 560 watts to my subs

this doesnt sound right at all. wut am i doing wrong or am i right just mistaken about sumthin?

My power wire is fused (Circuit Breaker) at 150amps. Although it should be 100a.

I have yet to blow that and my amp is rated 1500w R.M.S.

100% efficient amp at 14.4v

14.4v x 100a = 1440w when the fuse blows.

Now it is set to 2000w when It will blow.

No amp is 100% efficent.

That amp for me took some serious amp draw from my electrical system, I couldnt run it with out a second battery...

sure it says 40amp, not 80 amp?

but again, if your looking at 1100rms, your running it at 4ohms.

That amp is a serious amp, dont let the name fool you, same amp board as in Planet Audio, Soundstream,, and like 4-5 other amps

I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
