Custom trunk box for a pontiac g6 trunk...

Okay, I like to customize my g6 trunk 07 having the subs facing inside with seats folded down. Do you have to make sure that every angle of the trunk as to be completely sealed flushed inside? I was thinking 3 12 " kickers or 2 ? And how deep do i go for the box ?

Biggest issue you will need to face is the Sealed Cubic volume or Ported Cubic volume specs for your subs. Opening or closing the seats will change how loud the subs will sound for sure. Get the box volume right for the subs and the rest will fall into place. I feel like when I open my seats to my trunk that the bass is lessened quite a lot. My subs face into the trunk rather than into the passenger area of the car. you will have to play with it a little bit with a separate sub and face it in different directions while playing to get the best audio for yourself really. Like i said, the box is key....hope this helped a little

Rear deck port solves all problems.  Then you can go ported or 4th and still have full output with seats up or down and eliminates trunk rattles.  There are some excellent examples in the build log section.
