IxsharpxI
so i have a kenwood dnx893s, hsk165s and hcx165, jl xd400/4. when i have my iPhone connected with kenwood cable to usb 1, when i pause music i can hear a crackling noises when it should be silent and from what i can tell it remains as i turn up the volume. because of that, i started using bluetooth. with it turned down two clicks on the phone volume. but i can hear a hissing or a hum when i get it into the higher volumes. could be happening at lower volumes but i can't hear it. where are these interferences coming from and how do isolate them? Also im not sure if this was the proper section..but here it is
WalledSonic
Do you have an 'integration module' or similar device connected? Sometimes they add noise to the system. I know its a pain in the ass, but thats one of the more likely places for noise to enter a system. IxsharpxI
that would make sense.. i switched out a couple times between the high and low level adapters that they included and had to redo the connections a couple times. i hate taking this headunit out of the dash. I'm contemplating going the iPad route
IxsharpxI
but that doesn't make sense that the effect changes. if that were the case i would expect the same issue/interference across all sources
WalledSonic
Electronics are mysterious little things. Best of luck figuring it out. Probably a loose connection somewhere.
