Boon Posted April 30, 2008 Report Share Posted April 30, 2008 i only have 2 t1000 for now but im just going to put one amp to each sub with the pass thru aption, would i be getting a bit more out my amp that way than wireing both subs together and strapping the amps? No. It works out exactly the same. Putting the subs in series doubles the impedance, strapping the amps halves the load they see. So you want series-series. banginAltima Posted April 30, 2008 Report Share Posted April 30, 2008 You would have to series each coil and series the subs together at 2.8 if you want to strap them. or you will have to series each coil at 1.4 ohms run it to one amp then use the pass thru.... Either way you are not going to be at full power. Pick up two more Rockfords or sell them and get some Sundown amps. Btw I am selling my (2) RF T10001bds Quote If you build it, db's will come...
