Rockford Amp

ok, so i have 2 rockford bd1000 amps in a master sleave setup, powering 2 12 inch dd 9500 witch are .7 ohms each doul voice coils, i wired all the positives together and the same with the negetives witch is a little over 2 ohms each i think, so my question is, is it possible to wire each sub to each individual amp down to a 1 ohm load or so with out the master sleave and get all the power from both amps????

Whoa.... all positives and all negatives is a VERY BAD THING!!!!!

If each coil is .7 then you just wired each sub down to .35 ohms, Rockford amps can't take that...

If each coil is .7 there is no way to get 1 ohm out of each sub. You need to wire each coil in series (positive to negative) and subs in series and strap the Rockfords with the bd sync cable.

ooops i ment i wired each sub positive to negetive and then the rest to the amps so basically each sub is not getting all the power of the amps witch is what im trying to do?

you need different amps or different subs

what if i wired 1 sub to 1 amp down to 1 ohm or so, wont i get more power out the amp that way than wireing both subs togerther? you get what im saying?

if your amps are 1 ohm stable you can use the pass thru and used each amp on each woofer,

Okay lemme break it down for you....if you wire one sub with dual .7 ohm vcs in series you get 1.4ohm in parallel you would get .35ohm a piece.

edit: 1.4ohm would work for daily but it wouldn't be enough power for a 95 series.

I would put one amp on each vc....as long as you have the electrical to support it. So I believe you said you have 2 subs then you need 4 t1001bd

i only have 2 t1000 for now but im just going to put one amp to each sub with the pass thru aption, would i be getting a bit more out my amp that way than wireing both subs together and strapping the amps?
