BFB Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 Any idea what kind of isolator the shop put on to get rid of the alt whine? If it's what I'm thinking (a battery isolator?), that might be your problem...allowing your cap to drain but not affecting your primary battery. Quote

Guest Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 +1, caps discharge fast as hell and theres alot of other means of storing power. an HC600/800 will do a great job as a power storage device. or you can go full out and put an HC2000 or 2400 in there. normally the model number (600,800,1200) is how many watts that batt can support in a system. I.E an HC2400 can support a 2400rms system pretty well Quote
