oeking87
So I had two 15" stage three HP PS sub woofer she in a 8cubic foot box but my new car I can only make a 3.5 cubic foot box should I just use one sub woofer or squeeze both of them in there .Pay recommend 3.5 at least per woofer so I would be half of what they recommend if I use both. I have never had a setup in a under sized box before so I curious what would happen because I would like to still run 6000 watts but if it's going to sound like shut and it's not worth it I'll just run the one. ShadeTreeMechanic
I have heard that one sub in the right box can be louder than two subs in the wrong box. Maybe you should wall it? Triticum Agricolam
Normally I prefer ported boxes on the smaller side, but in your case I think you would be pushing the limits a bit too much. If you could get 5 cu ft net that would be one thing, but with the amount of space you are looking at, I'd just stick to one sub.
