2500 hd crewcab

I am looking for box ideas that will fit behind the rear seat of a 2002 gmc/chevy 2500hd crewcab.  I am doing 1 dd audio rebline 508 sub dual 4 ohm and it will be powered by a db drive a7m 1250.1.  not looking to get to low but would like to stay in the lower to mi 30s for tuning.

 

this truck had a power rear window motor right in the middle of the back of the cab.  and due to all the crap she has in the truck I can not do an under seat box.

I had the same truck and went with 2 shallow RF p3 12’s. Had to mod the back seat because they were full sheet metal and no sound came through, if I had to do it over again I think I would do something under the back seat rather then behind. Just my 2 cents. It sounded pretty good but by no means was it hitting below 40hz. Was a sealed box with around 1 cu ft each. Maybe with a custom fiberglass set up you could get more options. Curious to see what you can come up with.

well the box i have in mind looks like a damn tetris piece.  to make it fit looks like the port will be completely outside the box. to the right and bottom.  sub will be all the way to the left.
