BigNilla Posted January 3, 2018 Report Posted January 3, 2018 I understand that normally small and 4th order do not go together. However, for my needs, the 4th order would be ideal. I have 2 8" American Bass VFL series subs going to be driving them with an AudioPipe 2K. my intention is to install them in a 4th order box bridged to 1 ohm between my 2nd row bucket seats in my 2003 Suburban. I haul a lot of gear in the back and occasionally install the 3rd row seat, so in the back isn't the ideal option, I also do not want the speakers exposed or visible due to possible damage. I cannot find any airspace requirement specifications for these subs so any help on this would be appreciated.

Is there a reason you can't build a downfiring ported box or use grills? But to be honest I can't even find airspace specifications at this point. Did read someone used approximately .70 sq per sub but not sure of box type that was used
