white_boi_audio Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 I was wondering from you SMD guys about this XXX XA-2500D Mono block amp. I can get two of these for about 118 shipped and I have two ma Audio 12's that are 350 rms. So I was gonna run one sub to each amp at 2 ohms, Or see If I could get a maxxilink so I could link them to gether so there would be just one bass knob. Here's it is and its supposed to have cooling fans and can be run at 1 ohm do you think I could do this and would it be true 1200 rms out of both amps cause it does 600 rms at 1 ohm for each amp. http://www.savinglots.com/lotprod.asp?item=XA2500D "MY RIDE" 1987 Chevy Cavalier Z24 2.8L V6 -- CB Radio with PA speaker Head Unit: 7 inch Jensen Flip-out -- Speakers: 4 Visonik 6 1/2s and 4 Visonik 6x9s Subwoofer: One Audiobahn 18 - Sub Amp: Power Acoustik OV1-2000d 2000 watt monoblock amp -- Battery in back - Kinetic HC600 -- Sub box: Custom built 5 cubic foot tuned to 30 hertz Coming soon: Bigger Highs Amp, Power inverter "WhItE bOi AuDiO" "FEAR THE DUCK"

Andrew Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 Save up and do it nice the first time... You're more than likely going to switch setups alot less lol... Sit down and draw out exactly what you want, in your budget, and then be patient New project in the works
pstone11 Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 save up and get something good zack...I told you like...1000000000000x times The young nismo is all kinds of right. Set your sights on something affordable like a PA amp.. Once you get the cash for that (which isn't much) you'll realize that you are only about 50 bucks from maybe a hifonics, then once you get there.... you get what I'm saying. It dosn't take much to save a few bucks and find a good amp that'll treat you nice. You shouldn't have to compromise and buy something that you won't be happy with. Check out StoneSounds to see my recent builds.Or look at the Flying White Facebook Page!
