Mechman is a partner here. There are many good companies though. As far as the questions you have listed that's kind of your homework not ours. Not being a dick although I know it sounds like it.

What I consider the top people I would use are Singer, mechman, dc power, US alt. But that doesn't mean there aren't other good companies/ builders. I just finished putting in a CES alt from Johnathan Patrick today. Ohio gen, excessive amperage. The point is that there are plenty of good options but I don't know who has licenses and whatnot or what payment methods they take. I know I paid Singer and CES through PayPal.

I have personal experience with Singer, US Alts, and Mechman.  All three give excellent customer service by email or phone and all three make excellent alternators with warranty.  

There may be others but this is my personal experience.
