Box design help

I have a EXM Audio12 that will be powered by a Sundown Sae-1500. It’s going in my 1980 firebird and max demensions are 14” height, 14” depth and 25” width

I can possibly increase the width to 28”. It’s a tight fit due to the small trunk opening.

It's going to be impossible to get the correct port area and box volume even with 28" width.

The best I can do is 14.5” height, 16” depth and 30” width.

You could do a box 14.5" H x 30" W x 15.5" D with a port 13x2.5"  that is 24" long. this will give you an enclosure of 2.25 cu ft. tuned to 36 Hz. That accounts for woofer displacement and a little bracing.

Ok thanks a lot..should I do a double baffle or just put some wooden dowels on the inside?

I would do both. If you do double baffle then I would make the depth 16" so as to no eat up to much volume.
