Joe X Posted October 1, 2018 Report Posted October 1, 2018 Many of these low cost subs hardly take rated so the advise is simply not go beyond that even if the amp can. So here is a couple of suggestios, power: to subs rated, for the ported box amp subsonic filter to 27Hz, minimum port clearance 4 1/4", figures are just an assembly guides: Sealed Box, these subs are mainly designed for sealed: Ported is louder as always but these subs will not perform on the bottom end as well as some of the more expensive counterparts, the box is made to try to bring up the low end as possible:
