Ive heard the Kendwood 1800P they are loud and have very good midbass and tweeter is clear. If you are truly into smooth/tight & natural midbass ect i would probably also consider listening to a set of image dynamics cxs/xs, cdt audio hd/euro & hybrid audio, the tweeters from those brands are also natural & smooth sounding, if that's what you were looking for.
