Ron36 Posted November 24, 2018 Report Share Posted November 24, 2018 First off I’m aware of how bad they are don’t have a choice . Right now I’m running 2 DD slim line 10’s on a Skar Audio RP 800.1. No matter what I’m up grading to the Skar 1500.1 . My question is I’ve been looking at running 4 Skar Audio VD-8’s in a sealed box with the RP-1500.1. The DD’s are sealed also can’t fit ported just want to know if the upgraded amp is all I should need or to try the 4-8’s . What would be louder it’s hard I’m used to loud bass got a new truck and I’m done 5k systems maybe I need to just learn to live with what I got . I do have 1 small battery in the back but that’s it. 2022 Ford Maverick on 22’s Skar SK1500.1 on 4 Skar VD-8’s Mids Sundown Super tweeters, Skar TX 6.5 components on Skar SKM400.4 LC2 for audio control , XS Power D680 XS Series Extra Battery Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
