bigtinybob Posted November 25, 2018 Report Posted November 25, 2018 right now my p3 is tuned at 40 hertzs but ive seen ppl that has them tuned to 34-35 hertzs..how big of a difference does this make
bcbrassard Posted November 25, 2018 Report Posted November 25, 2018 5-6 hertz . lol Depends on what type of music you like. 40 hz can be fine, for those that like there lows in rap/hip hop/ ect 34 hz would be as high as you would want to go. Lower would be better but depends on the driver too.

bcbrassard Posted November 25, 2018 Report Posted November 25, 2018 replacement? That amp is rated for 500 watts @ 2 ohms so the sub is seeing decent power as long as your electrical is solid. maybe its time for a new box? Tuned a bit lower? What is the sub box that its currently in?
bigtinybob Posted November 25, 2018 Author Report Posted November 25, 2018 it had a bad coil when I bought it so the replament was sent out few weeks after.the box is the fosgate factory box for the p3 and its 40 hertz..id like to have it play alittle lower around 35..
