decemberbass21
Hey guys. I have a question about voltage. I have heard and understand that too much voltage or excessive voltage can fry all the accessories and components in the car like the amp, subs, anything that's running off of voltage. Is a 140 amp alternator adequate enough for 2500 rms and a 800.4 amp. I currently have a stock 80 amp alt.I know there needs to be an upgrade. So 3300 watts in all? Kyblack76
How high ya wanna go? The amp should protect itself at high voltage. Some take more than others. Dont know who told you the drivers can be affected. They dont see DC voltage. But, yes. Some vehicles/ecus, dont like upper charging, what vehicle we talking about here? If your buying a HO alt from a maker, just get one they make for normal charging and you'll be fine. To run high volt, you need external regulation and a bunch of other shit. A basic alt will do you fine. SMD SUPER SELLER The Burban Build Blazer Build sold Acura trunk build sold
