Joshdashef Posted May 23, 2019 Report Posted May 23, 2019 Could I soldier on my own ring terminals in place of the jumper alligator style clamps that come with this charger so I can use it as a permanent installed piece. That way I can just hook up an extension cord and lock up the car overnight ? melvinhob Posted May 23, 2019 Report Posted May 23, 2019 If you are planning on leaving it permanently installed I don't see any reason why you couldn't. The alligator clips are just a means of temporary connection, if you will be leaving it installed the ring terminals will be your permanent connection and serve the same purpose of delivering current to your batteries.
