I'm looking for a amp that will do 3000 watts or better. But the can't have a fuse rating over 200 amps. Can anyone point me to a amp? I looked at Hifonics but they don't say what the fuse rating is on the site. And I don't want to you Seteson.

The AQ2200D is your best bet, it's 2200 watts into 1 ohm which is less than what you asked but it does right @ 200 amps and it's the best i could think of. Why can't you do over 200?

I'll be competeing in NSPL and the class I want to be in says that the amp can't have more then a 200 amp draw. I want to run two Lvl 4 12's with 1500 rms

You can call they guy at audioque and ask if you can split that amp to 1 ohm which will give you well over 3000 watts i'm sure, he's easy going and cool. Plus the amps only $390 shipped comin' straight from the father of the guy that owns Digital Designs. Man makes great amps.

Lol why not stetsom they clean up in nspl

Alot of guys here are using them and most say they aren't good for everyday use. My car is my daily driver so the amp needs to be very depenible(sp). My plan is to use d1 subs so the amp only needs to be able to burp 3000 watts at .1. And have good power at 2 ohms daily. I may have to stay with my Kicker ZX1500 but just wanted something a littie bigger that could hang with the 2k6

Because of Stetsom's very low fuse ratings they are the brand of choice for NSPL. That AQ 2200d looks like a good choice. The only other thing I can recommend is a Sundown 1500d. I'm seeing 2500watts out of mine @ 0.5ohm. Also you can wait a lil bit longer for the new Sundown saz-2000d. It'll have a 200a fuse rating and should be capable of around 3kwatts @ 0.5ohm. It'll be out in a few months. I'm not able to make it to the NSPL comp this weekend cause i have one in Andrews I need to go to. Hopefully I can make it to the next one though.
