LincolnZv5TC
I've been through 4 headunits in the past year. One being the Pioneer PRS80. They seem to just one day stop working. They've all been wired into the factory harness, including power. After the first 2 went out i tried a separate chassis ground for the radio itself and it still went a couple months later. I did see on my PRS that it read 15v pretty much all the time when my batteries almost never reached that, pretty standard 12.9 to 14.5 with a 250a alt. Should i try wiring my radio straight to my audio batteries with a cutoff? Has anyone else had this issue? 2000 Lincoln Town Car
reedal
How did you wire it into the factory harness? And when you say they stop working, do you mean they no longer power on, or do they not read media, do they not provide an output signal?
