Forceww
I own a 2005 toyota matrix hatchback. I am thinking about running two DC Level 4 15s in the back and was wondering if you could help out with a design. The specs I have to work with are 40 wide x 20 deep x 18 tall. I want these subs to be damn near a groundpounder if possible. Was wondering if there was a way I could do a switchable port design one for daily driving and one for spl comps. Let me know I appreciate all the help!! SPL2K
By making it 20 deep, does that still allow some room for a rear firing port? or is that all there is? If you only have 20 deep to work with, 2 12's would be louder than 2 15's. I dont like doing "swappable" port systems because there is no way to get the full potential for spl or for street beat. Both will be "half assed" IMO. The best thing to do is tune somewhere in the middle so its as loud as possible all around.
