Going through the trouble of going aftermarket alt high output, why did you go with 170? Lots of factory alts are around that size.

 

You need a 250 amp minimum. And that battery with  a 250 amp is sufficient

At first i wasnt expecting to be where i am now lmao. I was just planning on running around 1500-2000 watts and got the alternator and the xspower battery to help with my dimming lights. But now that ive somehow gotten myself up to 3000 watts i regret the decision to get the 170.
