lj7802
ok ill change the port size to your recomandations. i appreciate the help and the way you explained it i understand how to go about it now nice to have someone explain it rather than just say its wrong and not explain why. Like i have got on some other forums. so thanks again much apreciated. so other than the port changes does the rest of the box look good.
lj7802
ok so im messing with the port size as you recomended but to tune it to 45- 47 Hz the port length would have to be way longer, so i must being doing something wrong still . i tried the dimensions on torres tunning calculator and thats where it wanted way to long of port. 1point21gigawatts
You’re welcome dude! What cubic foot sizes are the chambers, ported chamber and sealed chamber? And what type of vehicle is it going in? I can help you through this. I can design it worse come to worse. “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”
1point21gigawatts
You can try 48hz and see what that yields. “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”
1point21gigawatts
And I forgot to tell you that torres isn’t that accurate. Check out this post somebody posted earlier to corroborate. Plus I’ve always heard winISD isn’t accurate either. “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”

1point21gigawatts
Why don’t you make the port external facing towards the front? I’ll post a picture of one I built. “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”
