Just looked it up. They only make that subwoofer in a dual 4ohm. Those Skar rp amps are 1ohm amps so that wouldn’t work out ideally for that subwoofer.

the distortion detector is where it says “clip”. When that distortion detector goes off and stays on constant or it starts flickering rapidly or too much intermittently then turn the level knob on the amp back some until it goes off or just flickers very intermittently sometimes, the less the better. Keeping that distortion detector off is the best. It’s one of the easiest amps to tune.

Thank you so much 1.21 gigawatts for all ur help... greatly appreciated!!! Think I found what I’m looking for in an amp not too sure about the box yet... I will not spend no more than 3-400 on a sub enclosure hope that helps

You’re welcome. But make sure that amp puts out 1200 rms at 2ohms or around 1200 rms at 2ohms. The enclosure Ron posted is only like $100. It’s a good enclosure. The amp I posted a link to is persecuted for that subwoofer and is only $180.

You can get a custom enclosure built for $350-$400. I would do 3.5 cubic feet after displacement and tune it to 32 hz. Sub up, port back. Meaning subwoofer on top and port facing towards the rear hatch. You would have to go to a car audio shop and they would build you one and it would be ready in about a week. Personally that’s what I would do. That’s what I actually did. But I’ve used that same model enclosure that Ron posted and it is really good. It’s really up to you. Spend $400 and get the best enclosure possible or spend $100 and get a good enclosure.
