07sOnAtA sp.ed Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 is there a certain mathematical equation figure out amperage pull of an amplifier? i want to know the amperage pull of the crunch 3000, and other amps that dont have it listed under specs. also when you see the rms of an amplifer, is that the rms off a 12volt battery, or a 14.4? i dont exactly get that... or does it not matter, b/c the amplifier is really pullin the amps from the alternator? Shibby Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Add up the fuses on the amp that will get you close Quote
Stephen Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 I would say at least 335amps at 14.4. Quote you can cook bacon shirtless if you're not a pussy...lol not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be. Stephen Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 place it around the wire and it measures current and voltage by analyzing the magnetic field given off by the flow of current.
