Bass4Lyfe
So I think the brand was Skytech or something to that sort. 2 Way LCD remote start, shock sensor, and optional proximity duel zone sensor. Installed for 550 he said he gave me a good deal and I believe him, been a customer there a long time. Most of you seen the pictures (more to come i promise!) of my audio setup i just put in (with the shops help on some parts) and was just wondering if you guys have reviews on this brand? i've been longing for an alarm system so i'm really happy! getting it installed this weekend so any advice would be great! thanks all! I bet 75% percent of that $550 is labor. i was going to have a shop install my alarm until they told me a relay cost $40 and the parts store that they share a building with has them for 5.99 Quote you can cook bacon shirtless if you're not a pussy...lol not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be. basshead
i sell skytek "GALAXY" alarms at my shop and a full feature remote start alarm with 2-way pager cost me $105 dealer cost and the motion sensor acc is $16 plus 3 relays for starter kill and the remote start ignition bypass = $125 my cost and i charge $349-$399 for the alarm & install so $550 for the alarm and install is really high i think you should get another price quote @ a diff shop IMO i think it it should be a crime for shops to overcharge honset hard working people like that Edited May 13, 2008 by basshead

Shyne151
I've saw a couple skytech products in ca&e and mobile electronics magazine... they seem "ok", I've never installed them though. We sell compustar and viper, which are both great brands that I would check out if they have them. And $550 isn't a bad price if it is a good shop and has a lifetime warranty.
