can someone please send me a detailed cut sheet and diagram please

hi, i made a design using torres but my builder is asking for a detailed cut sheet and blueprint/design showing all measurements and pieces to be cut.. i have no idea how to do this, so can someone please input this torres data and send me a detailed cut sheet with design showing all cuts and measurements?

Im going to bed. I got you tomorrow when I wake up. I got you bro. I’ll write you out a basic cut sheet, port cut(s) too and I’ll draw you a diagram(s). I don’t use computer programs. I write and draw lol!

Ok, I’m ready. Where is the subwoofer located in reference to the enclosure and where is the port located in reference to the enclosure? Sub back, port back? Sub up, port back? Sub back, port side? Sub up, port side? What type of vehicle is it going in?

my max outer dimensions are 13.5 tall x 32 wide x 17 deep

currently i got a box that has 12x3 inch port 36 sq inches tuned to 33hz in a 1.8 net box, it sounds great ... so i was thinking make the port bigger, net airspace bigger and tune a lil higher to 35 36hz.. i think this would give more output

Tune it as low as possible using the biggest port possible with the most net air space as possible

Sub displacement is .28 has an fs of 34hz which i think may go even lower after break in which has already occured.  The problem in this (tuning lower than 33hz) is the lower u go (28 to 30hz) the longer the port gets which i then have to sacrifice port area (width) to achieve the longer port. 

 

NOTE: i am using an audiocontrol epicenter in my setup which is absolutely needed as many genres sound so flat without it but with it omg it completely slams. So these epicenters come with 33hz subsonic filters in them. At first i didnt know you could buy new filter chips and make the epicenter go lower. So i changed the 33hz stock chip to a 25hz chip and it became so sweet. The enjoyment level increased bigtime. So now i bought an even lower chip, 20hz. So the lower my box is tuned..the more fun i can have. I just need to make sure if i tune to 30hz or whatever..that my bandwidth doesnt get super small and starts to fall off in the upper 40s or something...

im leaning towards something tuned lower like 30hz but then sacrifices in box size and/or port area will need to be made...

i dunno man this is where your expertise will come in.. 36hz with 2cubes and bigger port or 30hz with slightly smaller net space and smaller port...

im torn between the 2.. i know i will get more output from the bigger port and box size and 35/36hz tuning but the lower box will be more "FUN" since im suing that 20hz epicenter chip

Just make the enclosure bigger and tune it to 32hz. I can whip you something up if you want. It would hit super hard and have good bandwidth.

ok but as long as its substantially different from the enclosure i have now meaning as long as it will produce greater output than the enclosure i have now then it will make sense to rebuild. If the design you come up with is too similar to this one and there wont be too much difference, then obviously it doesnt make much sense to build it.

 

I will tell you again, for reference, the enclosures specs i am using now.

 

outer dimensions 13.5 x 31 x 17 port 3 x 12 length 37 final tuning 33-34hz

sub displacement .28 bracing .03 

double front baffle.

so at the end , from my calculations, i get 1.8 to 1.85 net tuned to 33/34hz with 36 square inches of port.

Both enclosures you have mentioned are too small. Of course any enclosure I design would hit way harder than that one. This is what I do dude. What kind of amp? So I know the rms output for port velocity. And subwoofer displacement on either of them 2 subwoofers you switch from don’t have .28 cubic foot of displacement. One is a U series and the other is a zv3, which is the about the same a the U series. I had a 12” zv3 before. A while back. Recently I had a zv5 15 and it was .25 cubic foot of displacement. And that zv5 stood way taller and way wider than that zv3.
