The Performer Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 ive got a damn good version... not tommys... but i do have agens and the i feel like dying copy is only clipping for a miniscule amount of time thats almost unnoticeable so i dont think anyone can hear it on headphones... I've tried that I feel like dying in the truck earlier and it seems fine. I had the same clipping going on with my headphones but I was playing it through winamp with my custom EQ setting enabled so I believe that had alot to do with it. CERTIFIED BITCHES!!! 01xtreme Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 The DJ knoxx remix of in the air tonight is alright. the added bass is out of sync on some parts of the song, I usually only listen to it once the drums and everything comes in, it is straight from there on out. My System: Pioneer AVH-P3200BT 4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors) 8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash) 1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs) 2-18" BTL's (for now) Crescendo 3kwp (for sale) Complete rebuild coming soon...
ChevyBoy Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 Hmm I thought I said something about a epicenter too.... http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/01nocomment8so.gif no where near close to the correct version. You can find that song on p2p labeled as dj knoxx bass mix, but it wasnt done to proper and sounds very unprofessional. but that slowed down version of I feel like dieing sounds like straight crap, and is making my headphones distort something fierce that was a really bad job on adding the bass That will clip your subs fo sho! Altho the airforces sounds straight. LoL like I said I was a lil tipsy and eyes where looking like an asians.. Oh well sh!t happens, thanks for the fix roscoe. considering there programs that can reproduce bass, an epicenter is not the only way to bring out the bass in a song.
The Performer Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 considering there programs that can reproduce bass, an epicenter is not the only way to bring out the bass in a song. How well does an epicenter perform when listening to heavy metal, punk, fast rock type music? I'm liking how my setup is sounding when I'm listening to rap, but I want a strong lower half when I'm listening to my metal and country. Would an epicenter really shine here? If it does what they say, this might be something I want to look into adding. CERTIFIED BITCHES!!! Not being new at something doesn't mean anything.
