Ok so I have stock alt, but the big three 0gauge wire not to sure if it’s cca or ofc wire. Two batteries and I’m having voltage drops still. amp is a American bass 4K on a 15 inch b2xm .75 wired to 1.33 ohms it’s being ran in a 1998 Ford Ranger xlt voltage holds at 14.7 volts with system up but dips while I’m driving to 12v what can I do to help with this? I plan on getting the biggest ally I can on it and upgrading the amp to a6k.

For now, on that amp, get a good high output alternator and make sure you are using ofc wire and make sure the grounds on your amps and batteries are hard and around 18” or less. Then when you upgrade to a 6k rms amp, you would need to double up on the possible feed from your alternator to your battery and from your battery to your amp and double up on the big 3 grounds and double up on the amp’s grounds and that other battery’s grounds and get another battery. Make sure the positive and negative feeds are doubled up on that amount of rms/current draw.

:stupid:“How can we help you?”
