liteblue Posted March 9, 2021 Report Share Posted March 9, 2021 Size, Chemistry, Amp Hours and Alternator Charge are your deciding factors. Lithium amp hours are not linear accross chemistry type. Lto vs lifepo, etc.... they could have the same Ah/Wh ratting but yield dramatically different results based on charge available. I recommend agm. It's heavy but less volatile. I also recommend a car audio branded battery aswell. Xs power shuriken blockshaker etc... Xs power makes batteries in huge variety of form factors that perform identically. I would use atleast 2. Largest D series you can under the hood and the biggest xp series you can afford/fit as a secondary. Lithium you want something 15 to 25 ah at least. Droppinhz did some testing with limitless and he found they can do 4000 watts with very little charge.
