Anthony10111
So with watts x ohms you take that number and the square root of it is your desired voltage... Does that always work ?? Cuz I was pulling over around 58 ac volts thru my bamf 5000... Now I'm pulling like 45 ac volts with the taramps smart 3 and im smashing way harder....I'm still at the same ohm load... To me, power is power, and that makes 0 sense to me... Can someone help with that maybe?? I know a clamp meter would really tell me... But that doesn't explain this question
liteblue
You say 58 volts but I imagine it was clipping or had no amperage. Voltage on a multi meter is not the full picture. And wattage/voltage does not = volume. The bamf series absolutely does not do rated power cleanly <1% thd. Also bamf might is a half bridge. Taramps is full bridge. The signal is generated differently.
